Mac's quality has been on a good upward trend over the past couple of years. I have a set of Mac L/T's in my trunk that need cleaning up and jet hot coating before I install them. I have not heard anyone complaining about their fitment and judging from all the Mac parts I've had over the last 4 years, I'm not expecting any.

I had a MAC O/R "X" and it was great quality. Don't know about the L/T's.

macs are good quality, i have the LT's ready to install on my auto, the only thing is with LT and autos you can drop the trans without diconnecting the headers, remember that......BTW I might be selling the LT brand new, I might be going ina different direction, so if you are interested PM me

I have heard of a lot of people being very please with there MAC LTs. They are definitely earning a lot of trust for such a cheap header.

Don't completely cheap out though, you NEED to get ceramic coated headers, otherwise the chrome will rust off and your in trouble. Ceramic MACs are like $350.

The only problem I have ever heard with MAC is that their fitment is not very good on our 4.6's. I have heard you need to drill the flanges to get perfect alignment, but other than that, nothing more than another great header.

I have Jet Hot long tubes (Hooker rip off's) They are coated and that's about the only good thing I can say about them. They will allow for dropping the auto tranny without removal but they leak and hit the floor pan. I hate the fuggers! I'd go with the Mac's and save the money, I know several guys who had good luck with them.

No Jet hot actually makes headers also and they are poop. They either make them or just rebrand the Hookers but either way they fit like sh#t. I still have the box and instructions that they came in and with. Plus the dirty bastards sent no bolts and we had to fabricate our own. A couple had to be cut off to clear the pipes. There was much unhappiness and foul language on that install.

Mac is perfect. I have the coated mac L/T's, and they fit snug around my automatic.

BBK LT's wont fit the auto tranny. And you cant drop the tranny with the Mac LT's. Check my site for clips of my car. Im running Mac LT's, Mac o/r H, and Magnapacks.

I have a pair of Hooker Long Tubes and they bolted up with no problem. But hooker sent bolts with them too.
