This is a tough one, but I would say Steen Racing IMO. It is what I am planning on getting. If you are going to add a blower, I think you want Stage II heads and a stage I cam. Wiht springs, they run about $2200. You pull off your heads and send them to them. Expect about a 50 rwhp gain on your car.

They seem to do great work, and I am mostly impressed with the guys who use them.

www.steenracing.com I believe.

Steen, Renegade, VT, Modular Performance...... there are some real masters out there at head porting. Al Pappitto (boss330racing.com) does a lot of 4V stuff. I would say realistically on a stock SB your looking at 50rwhp..considerably more with a blower.

yes yes! what all these guys said, I was just at steen last weekend, they quoted me right at 3 grand for a stage 2 port, cams, springs, and that's leaving my car there, and them pulling the heads and installing them, I'd do it myself, but i'm lacking in tools and time.

The package deal, like all the people above me,is definately the way to go.The porters have had time to try different cam/port combinations and usually know what works best with their setup.Personally,I would go with a company that uses CNC machines, they are more consistent.Tell them everything that you want to do and wiegh all the advantages and disadvantages then get the one that will best fit your needs.

NO! Too many problems with there swirl dam removal techniques. Don't ever forget, if it costs less there is a reason why. Buy from somebody that has little or no complaints, not a questionable company. Even if you bought the PP heads and they fixed problems with them for free, who pays for the headbolts/gaskets shipping etc.....you do.

Not aware of AFR Modular heads. The only heads that are availible for Modular 2V's are the FRPP's and the stock PI's. Which consequently can easily flow enough air for 300rwhp.
