auto question?
just curious. dont know if i will get a answer but this is what my tranny is doing. i wont be racing the car anymore till i can afford a new torque convertor.
when my car is in overdrive it shifts from 3-4 at 5500 rpms. well i tried to see what will happen at 5500 with overdrive off and bam the rpms dropped from 5500 to 5k then hooked back up. is my valvebody telling the tranny to shift at that rpm or is it my tune? my tune is locked so i cant make any shift point adjustments. im confused about this. |
the valve body makes the tranny shift and how hard. It doesnt decided when it should the ecu does that.

i didnt pay the much for my convertor in my truck, but mine died after a few hits of a 150shot. But it wasnt made for nitrous either which is my fualt.
