Default goodbye 6, hello 8

i just got rid of my 04 v6 today with 19,000 and got an 02 v8 with 27,000 miles...it already has a k/n cold air intake in it. that car is FAST compared to the 6.. first mods are going to be x pipe, long tube and of course the catback, which brands give the best performance....

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE...so far....in the car world that is.....

i'll try to get some pics, i think its got a flow master cat back (if they eve make it) cuz the tips say flowmaster and the mufflers are new and its all mandrel bent after the cats and it looks like new piping, buts its dark so i can't really tell but it does have the k/n intake which is nice...i am going to og with o/r x pipe/ and should i go with long or short tube headers and which brand

That's awesome! A couple of months ago I bought my '02 and it also had 27,000 miles. I agree with MattJ. Sounds like you must have the flowmaster catback system. I have flows on my truck (40 series) and I love them. I'm wanting to put a k&n on mine too.

flows are the best - keep em - slp - rubbish, anyway LTs are the only way to go - anything else is 1) ***** 2) not as good ... get some 4.10s - 4.30's too much i have mac long tubes and they are badass - bUT NEWS FLASH - theres no point in doing all of those exhaust mods if your gonna put those crappy cats back on - FUGGG EMMM - NO CATS BABY!
