i like SLP in my own opinion. But not everyone has the same likes so everyone has their own preference.

I agree with the LT's and SLP. SLP LT's really change the tone of the catback/mid pipe exhaust. With that said, I love mine.

i love SLP...but I think their headers are expensive!! Is there any other place (besides their home page) that sells that sells them for a reasonable price?

What I've told people is try and find a local performance shop near you. I'm lucky, I have two. Anyways, I got the owner of one to be a "dealer" with SLP. He got me the SLP LT headers and catted matching X-pipe for under 900 dollars with shipping. Still a lot, but I saved over 250. But you get what you pay for.

I think so many people find SLP expensive only because they are coated. Many people don't take that into consideration.

Now I'm not calling anyone out here, but if I were MT and you were posting in my forums, I'd think it would be a slap in the face if you asked where you could get them. Looks like no one thought to post up that you can get them here at mustangtuning.com! For those that don't know how to look them up.....

They'res actually a good deal of headers that are ceramic coated, but SLP are stainless steel ceramic unlike BBK which alumized steel ceramic.

Well my SLP LM1's are on thier way. Should be installed in about a week from now and I CAN'T WAIT!

My final setup I ordered was:

- BBK LT's
- VRS o/r X
- LM1's

I got some stage 8 bolts and some percy gaskets and of course those MIL's. I can't wait to hear it. Its going to be freaking LOUD, just like I want!

Who said it wasn't raspy?

Anyways, I'm gonna try and find an exhaust vid of just an SLP x and a LM2 and then compare that to my full SLP setup. To me, it's totally different.

Yeah why would you want to sound like an LS1 that has a bigger v8 and kicks your *** out of the showroom, what are you guys thinking. Come on lets get behind BadFish on this. What would you rather sound like see pics. BTW Im waiting for your vids.

If you guys want some clips of SLP O/R X-pipe and LMII catback, i'll get some vids.. My roommate had that setup on his car. He went thru a few different setups with SLP.. they go as following:
Stock H-pipe and LMI catback
SLP Catted X-pipe and LMI Catback
SLP Catted X-pipe and LMII Catback
SLP O/R X-pipe and LMII Catback
SLP O/R X-pipe and LMI Catback (just for fun one night)
SLP O/R X-pipe and Bassani Street Comp Catback

And Soon to be..
Kooks Longtubes (jet hot coated), Kooks X-pipe and Bassani Street Comp Catback

If you guys want a vid of these, just let me know and he'll send me one from his computer and i'll post them up

I agree with Venom.. The LS1 is an awesome motor, altho it is a GM. I am a camaro-hater (Hate the car, not the owner/driver), but there's no denying the ability of an LS1.. Easily get into 400+rwhp with bolt-ons and a cam, that's awesome if you ask me.

But i'd still prefer a Ford 4.6L than a chebby 5.7
