Seriously, I try real hard to be patriotic but sometimes I just break down when I think about how hip hop is practically the image of the US.

Not really. It's more like a gas station with a bunch of huge Escalade's with 40" chrome rims filling up. One person is suing the owner of the store because they spilled their cold soda on themself which necessitated a 3 night visit to the hospital and caused them severe emotional trauma. Meanwhile there is a gay marriage taking place across the street surround by protestors with picket signs, who suddenly become the victims of a drive by.
