Default need some help

ok I need some help here....and haven't gotten a reply from MT's website so I thought I might get some help here. To make it easier I'll just paste a copy of the email I sent them for anyone here to read....and don't laugh at me either cuz I am a female and probabluy don't know what I am talking about (LOL) But hey...at least I'm trying!!

Here goes......

I ordered the Mustang Cobra Stainless Steel Bumper Insert Letters (03-04)
to give to my boyfriend for valentine's day and figured they would make an
awesome gift!! You gotta understand...his car is his baby, and he won't put
anything on this car that isn't going to enhance it. I think you know I mean.

I received my order, tore open the package and suddenly I'm not as excited
as I thought I would be For $60 bucks I guess I was expecting something
that looked as good as the pics on your website.

Why do they look so scratchy and dull? I really thought they would be polished and shiny looking as shown. Or is that my job to make them look
that good? If so, how do I achieve that look and what should I use?

Also, should I have received some directions as to how these are to be applied to the bumper correctly?

I look forward to your reply in hopes that I will feel better about my purchase and not as dissapointed as I did when I opened the package. I really want him to have these for his car, but if they aren't going to look awesome I may have to send them back (

The scratchey look is the brushed metal look. They will look good on his car, there is no reason he shouldn't like them. I plan on ordering them very soon for my car. Look in the picture section and find a thread on lances03gt he has them (mustang instead of cobra though) but they will look good!

What color is his car?

thanks a bunch!! Since I didn't get any instructions on how these things are applied I was hesitant to peel anything off thinking that it might be an adhesive side...but i peeled back a corner and they look the way I was expecting them too...so thanks for helping me out with my stupid question

Take som pics and post them up in the pics section. We all love to look at Cobras. I know I do anyway. BTW those inserts will show up very nicely when headlights from behind hit them. He should be pleased..
