Default What's Your Gas Mileage?

Just kinda curious to see how everyone's gas mileage is. Mine usually sucks. I always reset the trip everytime. Last time With 13.310 gallons I averaged 16.910 MPG. 90% city driving. 87 octane stock tune. V8 BTW

Right now im at half a tank with about 150-160 on the clock. I changed my fuel filter and spark plugs and picked up some mpg.

That was all hwy btw. Avged around 22mpg for that trip going at 85mph.

I've been getting 230-240 out of a tank, but I run about 100-120 daily on the interstate (long straight stretches in the country, no cars, no cops) so I know that hurts my mileage. But still average around 19mpg.

umm, mine is usually bad

i play around quite a bit but i've never really tested it

i'm sure it's terrible because of the 4.10's and the high octane tune

lol, when i take my car out i can normally burn almost a whole tank in a night. thats one of the reasons i bought my explorer. it fill it up every two weeks. i get on it too much in the mustang and burn so much gas. i have no idea what my gas mileage is in the mustang but i know its not good, mostly because of my driving habbits.

Right now i am about half with right around 110 on the trip. I usually get about 220-230 for the tank. I use 93. 140 of those miles are usually highway. I fill up every 6-7 days.

thats a long trip dude.. ****. A full tank going to school and back and maybe to the movies every weekend gets me close to two weeks. Roughly 30MPG highway, I don't really count the city since you need to get on the highway to go anywhere here.

I get 13mpg city driving. I live in Chicago so it's all stop and go traffic. Lots of stop signs and street lights. My fuel light usually turns on between 165mi and 180mi.

Most miles I've ever gone on one tank is about 280 with about a gallon left in it. That was about 90% interstate, 75mph driving, with stock gears

LoL, Me too bro. I could care less what my mileage is. It all depends on how you drive. I wont putter around in 5th gear just to save some gas. Unless I'm on 1/4 tank and my wallet is thin at that time..

I used to get 275 to the tank with city and highway combined driving. Since it is pretty cold here in Ohio I am getting about 245 - 255 a tank. But that is with my stock gears, can't wait to see what it will drop to when I get my 3.73 installed!!

I've actually read that when you get gears, sure you're revving a little higher in daily driving, but your engine isn't working as hard to climb up in the rpms so the mileage would get slightly better than stock os in the end, evens it out...but I dunno if it's true

That makes since. I do about 50-50% city and highway driving. Average just under 15 mpg. With 3.73's...

Where you at in ohio?

Our tanks are 15.7!?!?!? I've been on COMPLETELY empty before and filled it to the rim, that was 13.491 gallons of gas. Does that mean we have almost 2 gallons of gas sitting there? Or is something else get taken into account.
