Default Hypothesis

Ok, remember the thread I posted earlier about my front tires rubbing? Well I was thinking. I know my camber is off from seeing the tread on my old tires on the SVT Cobra wheels. My hypothesis is that since my camber is off, it is causing my tire to rub because the wheel is tilted in bringing it closer to the sway bar. So if maybe I get ahold of some caster camber plates the rubbing will cease to exist. You think that might be a solution other than getting new tires since the ones I have right now are pretty much brand new.

Dought it the amount of tilt is so minal you can' t see it with the naked eye. Your car could have the toe out out of adj. to cause that type of wear also, Is there not steering stops you can adj??

I'm no expert but how much is your car lowered. The only reason i say this is because my car has almost a 3" drop in the front due to my coil over setting being so low. But hell, i got a good alignment at NTB and don't have any odd wear on my tires. I don't think your car need CC plates if you have a 1"-1.75" drop...imho..
