It's really weird kind of. Like if I make a huge turn it won't rub but if I'm going like 65 down the highway and just go with an easy turn it will rub the whole way through the turn.

Mine rub when I lock the wheel. Thats with 245/40/18's.
Newbie question: Is that bar that the wheel is rubbing on, is that the sway bar? I'm assuming so because someone said take the swaybar off and that's where the wheel was rubbing I think. I've been thinking of doing this but was curious how much it'll affect my DD. I never road race or take turns real fast.

yes that is the front sway bar. I just recently replaced those bushings pictured on my car, and they are called sway bar bushings. You can see some threads in the first picture right behind the rotor shield. That is for the "sway bar" endlinks. I am 100% that it is the sway bar.

Well I've heard of a few people would take out the sway bar to help transfer weight better to the rear resulting in better traction. Say I would have this problem of rubbing as well, is it safe and ok to just take out the sway bar even if my car is a DD, although I don't road race or speed around corners.

yup it is completly fine if you remove the sway bar, as stated don't fly around corners like a mad man and you'll be fine.
