kid claims his friend pulls an 11.1 on street tires, 1990 nissan 280zx or sumpin like that he always said i would kill him b4 but he just turboed it, my question is where in ohio was a track open in january for him 2 get this time................anyone else besides me call bs???lol

First off, 11.1 is EXTREMELY unlikely without some big **** tires and some massive torque. Otherwise, he would need to be making some serious hp. Turbos are great and all, but arent gonna give u like 250 extra hp, unless you do some craaaaaaazy stuff to it but...I dont think so.
the 2006 Z06 runs mid 11's and has a lb/hp ratio of 6.26 For every 6.26 pounds the car weighs, there is 1 hp. The smaller that number gets, the faster the car is.
you said it was a 1990. so thats probably either the 240sx or the 300zx. 240 weight around 2800 and the 300zx weighs about 3500(I looked that info up, btw).
just PRETEND that the car has 400hp(not likely, but pretend), the 240 would have a ratio of 7, which could give it high 11's. the 300zx has a ratio of 8.83, which isn't even close to 11's...maybe mid 12's.
To put it in perspective, my GT has 300 lbft torque and can pull a 14 flat with an expert driver(which I sure as heck aint). It's ratio is 12.
Basically, if the thing has 400(which again, is NOT likely), it'd need to weigh 2400lb to have a CHANCE. And with the driver likely being around 150 lb, yo'd need to get rid of over 400 lb in the car(if it's a 240sx, otherwise the 300zx would need to drop 6-800 lbs...AND have 400 hp to even have the possibility of low 11's. Even still, you need to be an awesome driver, which I doubt he is unless he's got alot of experience doing it.
Also, those numbers for the z06 are w/ its 6spd and big **** tires and the 240 or 300's 5 spd couldn't compare..

he doesnt run 11.1 on street tires.

i could have told u it was bs and that theres no money in it..........tons of miles on it.........pos..........i realy think high 13 is wat it will run at best realy it prob do a 14

well its a 1991 240sx, lol i talked 2 1 of the kids that knos him and the car runs a 15, he said its a complete poser, kid claimed 17 inch rims with 15's, hes got a nos bottle in the back but the wiring goes nowhere it just tucks in so its for show, lolhahaha, he said only mod he has is fart cannon exhaust, and he said the kid has no turbo 2 speak of lol
