Default Anyone know about this?

Display Codes?

The seller says there is something that Ford put in that will allow you to read a bunch of things using the digital readout. I dont feel like paying the guy $2 hah, just midly intrested in what he's talking about and wondering if anyone knows about this or if it is a hoax. Decided to ask here instead of researching it.

That's funny!!! :loser:
Although i guess if you are new to cars, there MIGHT be a reason to buy it...but with all the info available on the 'net, you'd be stupid to not research it before you pay for it...just my $.02

Yeah, $2 isnt much, but its still not worth it to supply someone like that who is trying to make money off of it.

BTW, this actually works. I do it all the time.

There are sites with instructions as to how to do it and what the codes mean.

Youll probably miss starting it up the first few times so ya youll probably reset your trip meter trying to get it set up.
You just hold the button down until something shows up in accessory then you let go and you can see all of it. You can also start the car while in this mode and get digital speedometer and digital tach amung other things.
