Default so....how long do u PLAN on keeping your stang?

Do you plan on trading your current stang to cobra/roush/other? Do you just wanna mod until the cows come home? Keep it stock? Sell it once u get a family? Keep it as a fun car to mod and take to the track? Where do u see your car in 10 years? 20 years?

personally...I want this car for as long as possible. If finances permit, this will be my weekend fun car and as my family and stuff grows, so will my mods. If I keep it, I'll eventually get the custom 302 w/ the biggest and baddest s/c around and eventually be like the guys on MPH with over 600 hp!!!

now your turn!

I ask myself this question all the time.. "am I bored with my car?" I haven't answered yes yet. I'm always wanting more mods, but I'm never bored with it. I say when I can say yes I am bored would be the time I'd want to trade it in. I've only had it a year and a few months but I've owned a mustang since I was 15.. currently I own the 2 and if I were to trade this car or sell it, I can guarantee it would be for another stang.. but it would have to be a saleen, roush, cobra.. or something just faster.

i go before the stang goes is my saying

if i blow the engine, new one goes in...if i blow the tranny, a new one goes in, if i wreck it, i will repair it unless the chassis is completely unrepairable

if i buy another one....seems like the pony is gonna have a garage buddy, or two, or three....

but i gaurentee that i will keep this one for the rest of my life...or so i hope

and i will never be bored of my stang cause there will never be enuf power to satisfy me

making it baddass... then selling it when i get out of college. Either settle and buy family vehicle. Or live the single life with another baddass mustang.

I'ma keepin it for as long as I can right now. i've got alot invested in it. Like everyone else, once certain things start breaking they'll get replaced by better aftermarket ones...maybe when i graduate college get a nice job making bookoo bucks I'll do a crate motor and other stuff, right now lookin good and not breaking the bank are what I'm balancing. My latest Tally is just over 3k into the car...

Well I usually Mod the hell out of everything I buy and get bored with them about after a year or two.But this car is different to me.I just don't feel like getting rid of it at all for some reason.

I went through 3 vehicles in a year at one time because of impulse buying and just wanting something else.Yes I have thought about trading it for a 03/04 Cobra but then I think why do that when I know how my Stang has been taken care of from day one.

I'm leaning toward keeping it for a long time and modding it a little at a time till I make it a show stopper.I already have alot of ideas of thing's I want too do.

I cant really say honestly. A week ago, I was seriously considering trading it in on a Mach 1. My car has almost 80k miles on it (or right there at it) and I know its going to be hard to sell it soon. BUT, I think I can pay it off in about a year and then its MINE. No more car payment, no nothing, just me and the car. Also, I need to keep it because that will allow me to start saving the money I am going to need for a house that I want to buy soon (like 2 or 3 years from now). I really dont think im going to supercharge it, as that just brings along with it a host of goblins and problems, but sure, itd be fun. BUT, I think that if I just keep it as is, and drive it until im finished with college like this, ill be a lot better off than I would be if I trade it in on another car with another 300 dollar (or more) a month payment. Just doesnt seem smart to me financially, and yes, you can call me Charles Schwab.

Mine is getting sold eventually due to me getting an 03 Cobra. I loved my 6er the whole time I had it and made it fast but I feel like I have out grown it and I am ready for something better.

Hell, who knows. I thought I would dump it for a 2005 last year, then the '05's came out and, well, I did not get sucked in. I like my car. It is not the best stang on the planet. Fact is, it is pretty cheap, fun transportation and I just don't want to get into debt over a new one.

I have always considered an 03/04 Cobra vert, so I could go in that direction. But, if I end up putting a Procharger on my car, I can guarentee that I will be keeping it for many more years.

I am married with two kids and just bought a second house on friday (investment property). I walked away from the deal with lots of cash (over 30k) and I still have no interest in buying a new car. I feel pretty lucky to be able to still have the Mustang that I have despite my responsibilities, so most likely I will keep it for a while unless I feel I should get rid of it before it gets too many miles on it.

im going to keep mine until the engine dies right now it has 84k on it but by the time the engine dyes lots of things on the car are going to need to be replaced so i would sell it with like 120k miles on it or let the engine die and put and 03 cobra engione in it and replace all the parts because they will go with time also

but this car it is a v6 so i rele dont plan on keeping it forever just like i said ill sell it around 120k miles and then have a down payment on a new mustang

do i plan on keeping the sixer? well i love it right now and would only get rid of it if someone gave me a silver stick GT or a silver 03 cobra...but i will keep this thing as long as i can and I am planning on having multiple mustangs...i love stangs

the only other car i will buy is like a nice truck for haulin *** in winter or bad weather

I owned my first Mustang for 21 years. I'm on my second now, coming up on 8 years. I have no plans to be one of those "wish I never sold it" kind of guys.

Find a school that participates in the Ford ASSET program. This is a factory sponsored program that places you in a dealership when you graduate.

Mines not going anywhere for a long time seeing as Carfax is still dicking me over.

Plan right now is to make it a weekend racer/toy after I graduate... probably keep it for quite a while that way. I'll buy a Mazda 3 or something to commute with.

Depending on how much above MSRP the 2007 GT500s go for that is what I will be shooting for I love my 03 Cobra but the new GT500 with the Whipple Charger is just plain nasty!
