I said longtubes, I like the new seats idea, and those are close to what I like. But I don't like the fact that it looks like u have to use a racing harness/seatbelt. I wish there was a mix between those and factory

i would get a harness, and also in the description it says racing harness compatible

im leaning heavily toward longtubes now

so with stage 2 cams and LTs what kinda gains am i looking at?

With your set up now, 40RWHP. My estimate, with a 75mm TB/Plenum combo, at least 50RWHP. This would free up even more air flow

The stage 2 cams will be the majority of the power, prolly around 25RWHP with your 5 speed. The LT's will just be more efficient if you get the 75mm TB/Plenum. My tuner who specializes in stangs, think I will get at least 10RWHP because of my longtubed and my full exhaust.

blower's are just too much. I'm doing the same thing. 75 mm TB/Plenum and Saleen U/D pulley's. Also gears, and a ****load automatic tranny upgrades. I would do cams but I don't think they're worth a decent amount of money, since you have to take apart some of the engine. Also, with stage 2 you have to get new springs, and again, if you ever do get a blower, thats when I would get cams, that way you can truley max out the power of the cams.

+'s & -'s

Blower = Constant wear on engine and constant power
N/A cams + Dope(nitrous) = Power when you need it

If you got blower cams, they will not do much UNTILL you get a blower. If you got n/a cams, you'll see an instant increase in power, and help alot if you go sprayed.

I had a tuff time decided which way to go. So i went cheapo and plan on dope.

:dots:

im not getting a blower, i decided, i dont want to worry about that crap. I dont want to floor it, and wonder if im gonna spin a bearing/snap a belt/throw a rod. or whatever, i drive this car 360 out of 365 days a year, and i think n/a is perfect for that, even tho it may be less $ per hp, it wont be when somone else blows a motor because their running to lean with too much boost or whatever!! too much of a head ache. besides. stage 2 cams sound SICK

thats why

Sounds like a great reasoning. And this is the similar thought process Im following. Except I dont know if I just wanna wait for a cobra. My car has an *** of miles on it. And I pretty much have it where I want it speed wise, I mean, cams would be great, but If Im going to sell it next year, well, hell no. We'll see I guess. I just dont what to buy a blower and get stuck with a 7k dollar car with 5k worth of blower crap that breaks... :wallbash:

Yea, Id shy away from the p51 (but you know why already) Tims heads will certainly give your car a kick in the nuts. The only thing keeping me away from a cobra is another damn car payment, which I am not going to want after I pay this pig off. We'll see I guess....my dad was always asking how to get 300 rwhp out of it
