from the "List of Class Vehicles" link..
With respect to 1998 - 2001 Ford Mustangs, only those vehicles originally equipped with the 4.6L 2-valve engine are included in the Class. Those 1998 - 2001 Mustangs originally equipped with other engines are not included.

All it is, is that those of us with the 99-mid01's have an earlier version of the basically identical intake of the late01-04. The ones that are 99-mid01 do NOT have an alumium cross over, as the late01-04's do have. They're simply putting on the late model intake on to our 99-mid01.

this is the one bought for around 200 dollars. This is basically what your getting, similar if not exact to those on the late01-04 http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...+-59014+-42643 75 % of what they'll charge is labor

Ok this is how it works...
If you have already replaced your intake because it was cracked, Ford will reimburse you the amount you paid if you have your receipt.
If you replaced it and you don't have your receipt, Ford will only give you a flat amout to make it fair. I think it is close to $800.
If you still have your original on the car and nothing is wrong with it, Ford will extend your warranty.
If you still have it on your car and it is cracked, Ford will fix it for free.
Ford will inspect your car to assure the orgininal HAS been replaced. Mine cracked a year ago and replaced it myself so obviously I don't have a receipt but will be getting the $800 upon inspection. Your car HAS to be within the years recalled. Hope this helps!
