So, what next?

Ok, So i got a guy who is gonna help me get my 4:10's done in a couple weeks, i have a tuner on its way, i aalready lowered my ride, have K&N FPIK, and x-pipe with straights.

Here on the 30th i think i might have an exta 400 or so, what would you reccommend for my next performance upgrade? I'm done with visual mods for now. And i dont want to void the **** out of my warranty. (yeah i know i kind of have but the tune can be restored and the gears are hard to notice)

Plenum/Tb combo?
Headers?
Underpullys?

what is gonna give me the biggest grin? Save up for nitrous? (warranty killer but looks fun)

Only worthwile thing you mentioned in the whole post. Well, other than the headers, but get the nitrous. You'll see why.

Jack The Ripper 12-15-2005 11:35 AM

Yah right. ROFL

Does anyone actually FEEL a difference with the P/TB combo's?
or the under drive pullys?

Jack The Ripper 12-15-2005 11:41 AM

Nitrous is so goddamn tempting it is freaky.

if i got nitrous though and went to the track with my current setup running a 100 shot with 4:10's on street tires with my auto tranny, would i even be able to hook up? or should i start looking into some 10.5 deepdish and some good drag radials?

Personally, I think the deep dish is just for the look. I think you would be better with the 275 Drag radial over the 315, but I dont drag race, and could be completely wrong. Yes, get the nitrous, no, I didnt notice enough difference from the tb/plenum combo for it to be worth the 400 bucks, but I didnt pay 400 bucks, so I wasnt too pissed. The only difference is throttle response and a little over 3000 rpm. Pulleys, I dunno about, from what I hear, you can feel it, but others say theres nothing. Dunno.

Blow up your engine, use warrenty to get a built mod motor. ;)

madmatt 12-15-2005 12:16 PM

Nah, ford is pretty good about finding stuff out like nitrous use when you blow something up.
