My baby is in the shop :(
Welp, she broke down on me yesterday.
I had been replacing the left rear taillight, and had been running errands all day.
Anyways, i got the light replaced and i turned the car on and check that the light worked good, it did, so i started my car.
Turned the key, starter was running, engine wasnt doin much then finally kicked in. It didnt seem right though, it was idling at < 500rpm.
I got out, walked behind the car and could hear every turn of the cam, the car was all lug...lug...lug...lug....lug... maybe about 1.5 rotations per second.
I gotta say, it sounded freakin awesome, total oldschool sound right there. In fact, i'd love it if my car always sounded like that, but was supposed to. <ROFL> Anyways, it died within a few min and i couldnt get it running again.
I bet it is a bad fuel pump. Either way, thank god for warrantys, Ford sent a flatbed over to pick it up and they are fixing it for free.
but it sucks that my baby is gone.

I bought mine at the end of the warrenty. So i had it for a while and nothing went wrong. call em and ask them what is wrong. see if they will put an svt focus fuel pump in there if its your fuel pump thats bad. im sure they are close to the same price, so pay the difference.

lol. Messing with the left rear tail light? Guess what is right there.... your fuel shutoff switch. All you had to do was reset it and it would've worked fine. Unless you tried that, then my bad. Same thing happend to me, except it was right after i put subs in my trunk, and sliding around a corner one of them flew into it.

No i dont think that is it. Cause the car started up for a little while. I never hit the switch. Besides, its had some lag from time to time starting anyways.
If that was the problem i will deny it untill the day i die. <ROFL>
