Default Brake Caliper Paint

Ok finally finished the front calipers. I was very pleased with the results. It grew on me after I put the wheels on. I'll be doing a write up later I took lots of pics with some trial and error ideas and tips. so it should be interesting.

Sorry about this pic bad camera I have better ones while doing the job

yeah man I did mine the easy way and just painted everything, but that looks good too. Just remember when you wash your far to also clean the brakes now, otherwise they'll start to get dull. I love mine, the only Red I want on my car other then the tail lights...

I free handed that GT......but I do wish I got some high temp vinyl and free cut it.....but it still came out good. Thats probably the only flaw.

Hey Springstang it will be up by the end of the night I just need to get cracking..lol

I did mine a few years ago and they still look pretty decent. I would like to powder coat them I think the next time. I am not sure what I am gonna do with the brakes the next time they need work, which will be soon no doubt. 65k miles on original rotors and second set of pads.

I may just power coat the calipers, get new pads, and buy some sloted rotors. Getting the calipers done might be a bigger pain then I think though.

Its in the how to.....its been there since last night...come on get with the program..lol...Black and silver would look sexy on your car....sexy car for the sexy lady

I'm with you Blake the only way to make cpainted calipers actually last forever is to powder coat. Which will be done some day once I have a design I really like. I want some slotted black zinc rotors maybe next year.
