'69 Musting with inline 6

Default '69 Musting with inline 6

I'm looking at possibly buying a 69 mustang with an inline 6 in it. The problem is I don't know what a car like this is worth. It most likely needs to have the motor rebuilt do to loss of compression in 2 of the cylinders. One is down to 75% another is down to 25%. Any help on this matter would be appreciated since this is my first forey into the classic car world. :dontknow:

Sounds like a good prospect for a V-8 swap! That is unless your goal is a factory stock resto. It might be cheaper also, to install a Small Block Ford than it would be to properly rebuild the inline 6. Sounds intersting though, the 1969 Mustang is my all time favorite of the classic stangs. Especially if it is a Fastback :blob9:
