Im new to video and editing and all that stuff and wanted to learn so i can do some stuff in the spring..I have a sony DCR-HC40, if that helps any..What do you use to say add music and edit the video..Is there a certain software you guys use?

 

my freind i use adobe premier its nice but like 150bucks but does everything.

yup...easy to use...a lil confusing at first but way easier than wat i have used in the past....ive used a $600 video editing program at school and WMM deffinetly owns it

 

LoL you could always turn to the dark/colorful side and go with an Apple, then again WMM is cheaper...

 

if you have windows xp you already have windows movie marker. It's a very basic editing program. I use it a lot of the time just to make clips. If I want to do anything else like syncing the song to certain action spots in the movie I use Adobe Premiere.

 

WMM is a really got program to start off with. I used it for probably 2 months and then I went out a purchased Roxio's Easy Media Center which is bad ***! It was about 80 dollars but it was worth it. Here's a video I made with it.

photoshop...or a program like it, i use the Gimp

 

i amnot to computer smart butlike that guy with the santa how would u do somtin like that

 

you could need a picture of santa and cut out the part you want from it (just the santa) and past it onto the picture of his car and you could move it around.. that's the jist of it
