Digital Vid cams
I know some of you guys have them, or are in the know, and I know Christie works at best buy, so Im wondering what you guys suggest, cause I think this is what I want for christmas this year. Let me know what you guys think, try and stay between 3-400 bucks. Thanks

My brother just bought a Sony digital for $900.Going to use it to make my exhaust video soon. You might want too ask Christy she works at Best Buy.

Yea, thats who I was hoping would pop in and comment, lol 900 bucks for a cam is outta the question though lol.
|
Yea that's what I thought too. They also bought all kinds of extra stuff for it too.

I have a Panasonic I bought last year for less then $400. It is digital and works great. I am not big on brand names with this stuff. Take my 55" wide angle HD TV I bouth three years ago October. I paid $1600 for it back then and still works great. The TV is a Panasonic too.

I work at best buy in the digital imaging section, but I dont know a bunch about video cameras. Just go for a Sony because they have the touch screen, carl zeiss lense, and does a really good job. We have one for lower $300 (doesnt take pictures)... thats the one to go with if you want a cheaper one.

What about one that does still shots and takes video (an actual video camera, but can act like a digi cam.)

I got a HVC somethin or other from best buy recently, its pretty nice, 330 bucks

There is this new camera that actually has a camera and video camera both put together. Unfortunately its incredibly slow and bulky. |
