"Professional" (wink, wink) Wrestling is nothing more than a male soap-opera!!!

There's more fake drama in one episode of WWE Raw than a weeks worth of General Hospital and Oprah combined.... ....and more reality in a staged episode of the Jerry Springer show......

...feel brain cells drooling out my ears, if I see more than a 30 commecial on WWE....

Yeah, i know wrestling is fake for the most part, but nonetheless its very entertaining and a very dangerous one. I can assure that at the end of the night, the wrestlers go home with an aching body. Some even lose their life. (owen heart). So its not all fake..

damn thats crazy. i use to watch wresling alll the time when i was like 10-14. But if you use to watch wresling there was one match that was not fake, and that was the hell in the cell. i believe it was mankind vs. undertaker. if you seen the match then you realize what hell they went through.

He's dead?!? wow, that's what happens when I stop watching it... I used to be a huge fan back a few years ago. As I grew up, I stopped watching as much, but even now I'll still find myself tuning in to see what's up... That's another loss to the community that I'm sure no one wanted. RIP, Eddie.

As fare as WWE.... its kinda redneckish.... like cameros.... not really my thing anymore

<clearing throat> I used to watch it in the "era" of the original Hulk Hogan, Junk Yard Dog, Andre the Giant, Tugboat *****, The Ultimate Warrior, The Genius, Macho Man Randy Savage, etc.

Altough YES wrestling is fake it is for our entertainment and these guys are truly athletes. NONE of us could do what they go through. You either love it or hate it. I haven't watched it since the 80's but I do know it has changed A LOT! It changes for each generation and people love it and kids need heros on TV to watch other than Sponge Bob.

People don't consider NASCAR a sport either, but there is no way in hell I could race a car for hour after hour in a suit that is 120+ degrees.

RIP. He had a dangerous life in the PAST but had turned it around and was supposedly sober for the last 4 yrs. Have some respect.

I watch WWE with my kids all the time. They said this guy was a born again christian and he really turned his life around. Pretty sad. Notice that the WWE never reveals the autopsy reports. I have never heard why so many of these guys are being found dead.

I used to watch NWA, aka WCW, then it all went to WWF, then WWE. My son was loving the WWE and eddie was a big part of pro wrestling for many years. He used to a smaller fighter. He then got HUGE muscles. Kinda like Big Pappa pump. aka, Scott Steiner. His muscles got so big, his muscles had muscles, and his muscles muscles were twice the size of ordinary muscles.

My point is we all know steroids were causing these wrestlers to double their body mass. Steroid abuse will kill you. I hate to hear that Eddie died but it would be my guess that steroid abuse played a big part in it. Seeing how it was probably a massive heartattack or stroke. It most likely wasn't from natural causes. My son doesn't understand this yet He is only 13 but he was a big fan of the wwe world champ. RIP Eddie.

Unhappy Update!!!

EDDIE GUERRERO'S CAUSE OF DEATH ANNOUNCED
by Mike Johnson @ 12:45:00 PM on 11/15/2005

Former WWE champion Eddie Guerrero passed away due to heart failure brought on by past drug and alcohol abuse, according to a statement made by his wife Vicki to WWE's website this afternoon.

Guerrero told the website, "It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.

As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard."

I never once said it wasnt dangerous, it is very dangerous. Just ask Owen Harts family.

That being said they are not out there because they love the sport. They are there for the $$. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that but dont make it seem like they would be doing it if they werent being paid. They want the fame and riches that come with it.

And to those who are whinning about bashers in the thread, he died from a heart issue related to drug and alcohol abuse. He killed himself, its not like he fell out of a tree while saving a cat or something. Millions of peopel die every day, it jsut happends he is a mini celebrity so he gets a thread.
