Um...I replaced my stock lug nuts with the steeda chrome lug nuts from this site...and after a day of rain...the nuts are rusty inside...and it looks like crap....I guess you shouldnt drive in the rain with these on ...or its gonna rust even more and be a bitch to remove when needed...? the rust must be coming from the lugs themselves cause they are exposed...
that sux. imma have to take em off and clean em..and not drive in rain at all with the stang...or just put the stock lug nuts back on...


anyone else have this minor problem?

 

I have a little rust on only one of my wheels. I think its the front passenger side wheel. However its not really noticeable unless you really look hard. I don't have any complaints with the lug nuts, i've had them for more than a year and i drive my car through rain,snow,sleet, etc.....

 

ive got em and mine do that but i dont give a ****. who cares what the inside of your lug nuts look like.

 

my gorilla lugs have surface rust on the inside. with the adapter that comes with the lugs there is enough play in them to where the rust wont affect anything. if it bothers you that much get some chrome cleaner that repels water.

 

You know when you put new lug nuts on your supposed to grease the studs. Not only does that help prevent rust it's easier to get off. Mine look brand new and have had them for over a year now.

 

Oh girls love my nuts...don't be fooled, you can tell alot about a man by the way he treats his nuts...
