Default Just ordered a new cat back for the mach

Since I couldnt swap out my exhaust from my old gt to the mach (dont ask, long story), I had to get a new one. Just placed an order with MT for SLP loudmouths Chris said it'll be here at the end of the week. woo hoo.

damnit I said not to ask ok fine i'll tell you. Had to do with emissions, the stock mid pipe on my mach wouldnt fit the gt and vice versa. They were telling me they would have had to fab a new o2 harness to make it fit, which is total bs. Could buy them for like 30 bucks a pair. Told them that too, they didnt listen. So they were thinking of just trying to weld in cats, but it came out to 500 bucks (which I think is still bs). So since they wouldnt be able to sell it as is in NC (the gt). He sold it to a dealership in SC, which doesnt have emissions and the sc dealership would only buy it with the exhaust the way it is. So I was pretty much shafted. So now Im buying a new one.

Uhh, thought I was going to keep the gt so I just tossed em. I've learned my lesson and going to keep every damn thing I take off the car.

LOL thats the truth. Hard lesson learned, I bet they didnt even take off that 400 bucks from the total you owed. Dealerships wrote the book on screwin people over. Oh well, just go drive the Mach, and itll be all worth it.

While it's true the 04s need 02 modifications because of their location, it is as simple as ordering the 02 extenders and that's it. It takes all of 2 minutes to install the extenders.
