Holy crap! I just joined the 21st century today and installed my cable modem. It completely beats the sh-t outta dial up. Dial up is ricer of internet connections- no matter how much sh-t they add to it to make it fast, its still a joke!

 

56k? haha I had that back when quake 1 was cool to play online, and if you had ISDN (64kbps) you were the coolest person online! Hell I remember when I had 33.6k with quake and if you had 56k, you were fast! Hmm I can go back WAY farther than that, but I wont.

 

Damn bout time.I think I would shoot myself without my DSL.

 

Yep I remember those days.I installed a V90 modem for a girl the other day and setup her net connection.Damn that dial up is slow,I almost forgot how slow it really was.

I remember Rainbow Six when you could play with a 56k connect and be relatively accurate.

Now after playing Quake 4 im GLAD i have a broadband connection, because i can rail like a ****.

I couldn't imagine puter life without my cable. They could probably double the price and I still wouldn,t go back to dial up.
