Default Helping our friends....PLEASE READ

I know I may be breaking the rules here, but lets start a fund to send $ to help those in need affected by the Tsunami. There is about 300 members here. If everyone donated just $10, we could raise $3,000! Some might kick-in more to make up for those inactive members.

Just a thought. I have experience setting up funds. It is not hard and we could do it all via paypal. I have a 501C3 number for my non-profit org that I run, so donations could even be tax deductable (for those who might be interested in donating larger funds). I will check with my CPA if there is interest.

Come on guys, let's show the world that us stangers have a heart. Just think, the check would be from Mustang Tuning Forum Members!

We could even create a sticky thread showing the daily totals ($) as the funds climb and guys could post their donations if they wish to generate excitement!

I am game!

I would be willing to donate. If you can, maybe we could also design some Mustang Tuning stickers to give to those who donated then we can all represent MT!

Thumbs up Helping those in need.

No tsunamis likely from Lake Michigan, but still the same, I'm in. The devastation from the IO earthquake is unfathomable. Who among us is not touched? :nike:

Thought some of you might want to read this

"They came from all directions, crawling under the craft, knocking on the pilot's door, pushing to get into the cabin," said Petty Officer First Class Brennan Zwack. "But when they saw we had no more food inside, they backed away, saying `Thank you, thank you.'"

For those that have them in their area, my company, US Bank has a Tsunami Relief Account set up. You can walk into any branch and make a donation to this account.

The bank where i live is already setting up a donation cause for the tsunami victims and i would be willing to donate to mustang tuning so we could all send it to them. Even though the worst i could get where i live is an ice storm again everyone needs our help.

Boy, I wish I lived in a bank! Sorry, just a little humor in the midst of a tragic situation.
