Looks like Charlie signed a 10 year contract extension to coach at Notre Dame too keep all the pro teams off his back. Can you believe that? 10 friggin years! ND is gonna do great under this guy.

Not really. It was Charlie that actually approached ND with the contract idea. He was worried about the moral of the team and on recruiting with rumors about him taking a pro team.

Remember, Charlie graduated from ND and to use his words "this is my dream job." Seems like he is here to stay for a long, long time. His wife is also very happy about living in South Bend. That makes a big difference too.
