Ain't this some bullcrap!!!
Well I come out of school today and walking down to the parking lot and I notice one of my tires is low. I get closer to it and the damn thing is almost flat. I ****** a ride home from one of my friends and then me and my dad ride up to the school and take a look at it. Got the portable air compressor thing and pumped it and rode home. Got home, took the wheel off and there is a damn screw in my tire. I have to take my car to a tire shop tomorrow to see if they can fix but if they are going to nothing but plug it I'm just going to go ahead and order my rims and all 4 tires so that I don't just have to pay almost 200 for one tire. I almost wish the tire would blow so that I can go ahead and get the new wheels and tires. Anyways, if I do get new wheels and tires out of this, what should I get? I know I'm going 17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 in back. Now the real choice is, do I go with black FR500's or Chrome Bullitts? Both being deep dish in the back of course. My other question is, what would be a good tire choice, I'm looking for something in the half drag/ half street tires that will take me through a Central VA winter safely?

Yeah, my dad doesn't really want to do it the way it's done now. He thinks the tire shop will do that old school thing where they melt the tire and ****. I'm hoping they don't do it anymore so I can get new rims

Yeah, I definitely thought I wasn't able to save any money after paying gas and all that non-sense but I just figured it all up, I'm actually saving like 200 a month now so I'll keep her and plus gas prices are falling.

They can hot patch your tire. I'd recommend that unless you can get a new set of rims and tires. I wish i could have that option. BTW I wish I had a dollar for every screw, nail, foreign object, etc I've had in any of my tires. It won't be your last one believe me.

I'm gonna get new rims sometime but I still can't decide on black or chrome. But definately DD rear rims.

hmm you already have new rims, why get newer ones? But between FR500's and Chrome Bullits, I like them both, but the chrome and bullit is kinda gettin played out, the new thing would be chrome fr500's like MineralGT has...
As for the Pirelli Pzero Tires, i have a set of them on my car right now. They are nice, but i'd rather upgrade when they wear out. The advantage is they have great wet and dry traction. I just wish they had them in 315 wide...

When i get wheels (Next Year) i also decided to go with 10 inch rear wheels.
I do think its a serious Dissadvantage not being able to rotate though. My drive a black 98GT and im mixed between black saleens, black Bullitts, black chrome Billitts or some other custom wheels....i also want 18 inch wheels.

What about some chrome bullitts. I know everyone says black bullitts are the next cobra R, but ever since the fr500s came out in 17's, EVERYONE and their mother is getting them. Id go chrome bullitts, Ive seen maybe 3 or 4 mustangs with them on.

BUT, like I said, FR500s are slowly becoming the next bullitt. It was the same way with the bullitts. First it was cobra R rims, then a couple people bought bullitts, then EVERYONE bought them, now its fr500s. It doesnt matter what others have to me, buy whichever one you like the most, because only YOU have to deal with the car everyday. If I hadnt gotten a great deal on these bullitts, Id prolly have gone with the FR's as well.
