Default Anyone in Engineering?

Well, im getting ready to graduate, and Im thinking that I want to be a mechanical engineer, but at the same time im still at that unsure state of what to do. I was just wondering if anyone here was or is still an engineer of any kind. I wanna know how you like it. My ultimate dream is to do something with cars, as that is what I love, but we'll see. Thanks for any input.

I have an Industrial Engineering degree. I share the same dream to eventually work in the automotive industry, or better yet, the aftermarket. My brother is in his second year, working towards an Automotive Engineering degree. I'm jealous because he will be creating body parts out of carbon fiber, building kit cars, etc... all thru his college career.

If you go for engineering, you'll most likely take classes in most of the different types of engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial...) so you can taste it all! I really liked that my program focused on project management and people management too. I am now a consultant.
