Default Mustang Values

Is it just me, or have the resale of Mustang gone up in the last few months? I have been helping someone shop for a stang, and have been really shocked at how much they are going for these days.

I am seeing 2001 GT Verts with low miles going for $17k. I would have though more like $14k. I have lots of examples.

I think the '05's have really helped the rest of us. The Mustang is back in good graces.

They maybe have gone up a little but the 05 comming out is what made them go so far down to begin with.

You can still find 00-01 GTs for 10K all the time. The foxes are crazy priced people want 5K for a so-so GT 5.0 and straight low mile one are 8-10K.

Ugh, I paid 12500 for mine two years ago, and KBB says like 7000...of course, they dont account for 35th anniversary Limited edition, but who is going to pay much more for that anyway... Oh well, Im not sellin for like 2 years, then maybe I can start charging insane amounts like the guys with fox bodies are right now...

you don't see alot of really nice fox bodies on the road any more, they should be worth something if they're done right.

Last Febuary, i got my V6 for $6000, but it had a crapload of miles on it. Although when i was shopping, it wasn't uncommon to hear people asking $11,000 or higher for a sixer with a bunch of miles....

I bought my Bullitt in Aug. for $16K with 54kmiles on it, kinda steep but i was in love with the car, so i bought it, plus my car is a special edition anyways so i guess that could be a reason for the price.

I got my 03 GT Vert for $27,000 with 33 miles on in. Now I have 39,000 miles on it. I almost traded it in the other other day for an 04 Mach 1 with 29,000 miles and the dealership was going to give me $16,500 for it on a trade in.

I love Mach 1's to, it's still an option to trade it in, but I'm attached to my car and that's probably why I can't do it! ha ha ha. They were asking $23,000 for it and it has 29,000 miles.

If you are going to trade it in, take all the stuff off of it. They arent giving you anything for the mods and will just profit off you leaving them on.

9,000 for my 1996 Cobra with 69K on the ODO with NO MODS on it.

I dont go by KBB pricing. I go by NADA.

$10,425 for my car with the current mileage

The thing that killed the new edge prices was people (me included) buying brand new 04 GTs for 18K for loaded up cars. The sticker on mine was nearly 27K and I paid 18,500 out the door including tax and doc fees.
