Saw a Stang get smashed today
I was going down my usual route to and from work. 4 lane road 45 mph limit. Came to an intersection and light turned yellow so i eased to a stop. Red mustang going opposite direction was gonna turn left. It was a left turn must yeild to green ball turn. Blonde lady was driving. She saw me stopping for the light ( which was still yellow, but not by much). She eased into the intersection for her left turn and at that moment I heard a whoosh of someone in small white car in the right lane next to me trying to beat the yellow light. Both cars were trying to beat the yellow light. The red Stang obviously couldn't see this car going through the intersection at I would say at least 60 MPH.
All I could do was watch and hope no one got killed. There was no time for brakes as the white car T-boned the stang. It was the loudest crash I've ever heard. Glass just flew through the air. Stang ended up in the grass and white car hit another small gray car and kept rolling to a stop in the middle of the road. Lots of people got out to check on everyone and all seemed ok so I went back to work. ( I was on my lunch break so I didn't stop). But anyway it shook me up. I wonder now should I have stopped and been a witness. I saw the whole thing. It was kinda like a drive in movie all right in front of me. The stang looked to hold up pretty good for a side impact crash. If someone had've been in the passenger seat though. I would not be so sure there wouldn't have been a death.
Anyway i had to get that of my chest. That little movie I saw is stuck in my head now. It don't pay to be in a hurry through intersections.

yeah man Accidents are terrible you never win, a couple years back my mother and i were makin a right turn at a light when the car infront of us got nailed NASTY style by a guy that ran a red light... then the guy that hit the car infront TOOK OFF, his hood was all messed up and his front right tire was flat, we chased him down the road until a cop saw him and pulled him over...that was wild!

the older friend of mine who has a cobra was apparently being stupid and riding on a raised-up jeep's butt. Well a car pulled in front of the jeep so it slammed the brakes and when the cobra guy slammed his brakes..what happens to the nose? it goes down...and with the raised up jeep, my cobra friend's entire hood was UNDER the jeep's rear end.
The guy is kinda weird and so after he got a new hood, he hangs up his old one in the yard and it's labeled "Driving too close, not worth the raise in insurance" since he also had engine damage and his rate went up.
For the record, I think riding on anyone's butt is the dumbest thing you can do.
