make sure wax isnt in your crevices. A soft toothbrush gets it out easy. Dress your tires, chin spoiler, mirrors, grille delete bottom peice, and your wiper plastic guard. Also get an engine dresser to get the bay shiney after its cleaned. I think one is called "engine koat"

Paint your car black!

Seriously though, be sure to use a good three step process like maguires if you have the time, then top it is 2 - 3 coats of a high-quality carnuba. I always bring maguires final detailer wish me to shows too.

Well I've already waxed it 3 times since Saturday

Do you spray inside your fender wells once you get too the show's? With something like tireblack.

Any kind of gel tire dressing works for that.

Clean the hell out of your windows-dirty windows =
+ 1 on tire foaming fender wells.
Take wheels off and clean the inside of the rim, makes em look like they are brand new (if you have time)

Is that even possible? Im a detailer and I cant even spend that amount of time on something. After a while, waxing your car over and over does absolutely nothing.

lol

wash, clay, wash, dry, polish, remove, wax, remove = 2 1/2 hours if you take your time.

I can have my car washed, dried, waxed, tires, rims cleaned and dressed, and on my way in 1 hour exactly. i also dress my chin spoiler and grille delete too.

back on topic.

Was'nt all waxing.Cleaned the engine bay, cleaned the leather, tire blacked the fender wells. Most of my time cleaning was the interior.Hate cleaning the inside so it took a little while, even shampooed the carpets and mats. Also took time out for lunch and dinner.

Some pics are in the pic section. If your car was'nt 30 years old you did'nt have a chance. But a 05 GT that was done up as a GT 500 got 5th place.Had a great time just hanging out with other Mustang guys and talking about car mod's and ricers
