I don't like how i will be knocked for having a v6 every once in a million years, but never by a GT/Cobra/etc. owner, always by someone i could more likely than not beat, and all GT drivers etc give me thumbs up or throw peace signs...
So 2 more cylinders and my car would be perfect, that and i have too many miles on her...

 

The non-retracting seat belts and how the stock shifter doesn't want to go into reverse sometimes.

Probably only with my car but whatever...

Im pretty sure its our tranny (the t-45 aka PEICE OF CRAP) thats in all 99-00 stangs and a few 01 stangs (including mine dammit)

And i thought it was just b/c i had a V6, but now and again my car won't go into reverse, i'm like wtf? so i gotta put it in 4th and then slam it down. and yeah same thing with the seat belt, idk why but it always gets hung up on something...

 

Instead of slamming it down try letting off the brake and letting your car roll or rest a little bit then apply the brake and shift into reverse. Usually works for me...

 

Seatbelts!! grrr I hate pushing them in thier place everytime i get out! lol

 

My passenger and driver side windows squeek when they go down or up.
And I hate when im turning right into my driveway slowly and I hear a damn knocking sound coming from the back of the car... what the hell is that? a stabilizer bar or suttin?

i hate the stupid seat belt loops. They are freakin retarded!!! why are they even there? every time i put the seatbelt in there it just flips and gets all tangled up and turned around. i hate them

more horsepower = more money. If you want more horsepower, they offer a model called the cobra.

 

I think his point is that all the Ford engine's minus maybe the cobra aren't anywhere near their potential off the assembly line. But then again Ford is a business and more concerned with selling cars cheap then selling a few high performance cars....

My windows do this too. I also have a Black '02 GT. I thought it might be the cheap tint that the previous owner had on the car, however I had it changed(had to go darker) a couple of weeks ago and they still do it. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY! but not as bad as my window sticking.

 

My hood scoop holds like a gallon of water. After I wash it I have use the shop vac to get the water out, or use 2 or 3 towels. And the rear bumper where the trunk lid bottom closes at holds dirt like crazy. and my stainless steal exhaust pipes are ugly and not very smooth where the cut them at the tips. And my rearend housing is cast iron and surface rust is everywhere. Why couldn't they paint that or treat it with rust preventive stuff.

 

let see here is a list of little annoying thing i need to fix on my Crapstang.

Seat belts forget about it.
1. 6 CD changer gets stuck when switching from CD 2 to CD 3.
2. Going into reverse is just a mere suggestion
3. The air vents break for no apparent reason... J b Weld and Model Paint has helped me fix these.
4. Squeaky noise in the engine bay that goes away when I press the clutch.
5. on a nice spring day cruising with the windows down feeling the fresh air in your face. Meanwhile your legs are losing weight due to the heat coming from the firewall.

6. Oh yea the dam check engine light just came on with a 4606 error.

I am thinking of throwing the chaise away and sticking the engine in a RX 7

i forgot one thing...all my cd's get stuck in the cd player. i hit eject and they don't want to come out. i have to pound the top of my dash a few times. now that's embarrasing. especially if there's a girl in the car.

 

Same here... ford is a piece of crap company.. ricer cars have better quality inteior

 

I do not like the left knee vent, ya cant get it pointed good with the steering wheel in down position, you also cannot see the guages well behind the steering wheel.

 

1. Transmission
2. Creaking Steering
3. Inability to integrate the Mach 1000 with an iPod w/o a transmitter
4. Hood scoop that perpetually leaks water back onto the hood after I dry the car

 

seems i'm the only one to notice this.... but if i have anything larger than a coke can in my cupholders i hit it EVERY TIME i go to shift, it really aggravates me.

 

i hate when my 6cd changer wont spit out the cds i put in, it kills me...i hate that strange thumping noise i hear when going into my driveway (same thign someone already said...anyone know what that is?) i hate the noise that keeps coming back from my right front suspension, its very strange...other than that, i really hate the freaking scratch that some bastard put into my dirver side door.....other than that, my pony is fine...

 

The thing that annoys me the most is the NON Retracting Seatbelt....the whining power steering pump, weak *** stereo system, and where the shifter is positioned. I mean i have to lean all the way forward just to shift. (i have auto so aint to bad). Other then that i love her so much!

 

I had the same problem so i took it in and ended up being a broken power steering bracket just a $10 part so not that bad
