Everytime I drive around town and I see a passing Mustang fellah they Wave to me..or flash there lights at me. A way Of saying.. NICE Car or somthing like that.. ESPECIALLY with Cobras and GT's...i dont really notice V6's saying "HI". It must be a V8 thing lol but anyways....I thinks its kool.

over on the 6 forums on stanget we had an entire thread dedicated to this!
also the different way of revving to others, lol, our favorite had to be the 'buddy in need rev' or something like that which involved a car challenging another mustang ahead of you, and you revving like 'ive got your back' some of us V6ers have stock exhausts, and cant rev back at you! (too quiet! lol) (mine, for a fact, is louder than the GT stock exhaust(my 95 v6 over my buddies 00 GT), so i will rev back at you at anytime!) although we didnt focus much on the waving and flashing of lights... we always give thumbs up if the car is nice looking =D

 

lol around here other mustang owners pretty much suck.. every mustang owner thinks they are better than every other mustang owner.. it's like war almost all the time.. for the most part, i mean i do have some stang buddies.. but around here if your revving u better be racing.. lol the only people how really wave at each other are the vette owners.. but then again they are all old.. mustangs have a colorful age range..

 

Well in my town it is different than yours. If another mustang passes by they usually rev, but not a friendly rev. It is more of a "come get some" rev. I don't mind them though, they know my stang looks better. Most'y 5.0's in my town anyway. As far as the newer stangs, they usually just look as I go by.

 

There is a mixture of both here. There are plenty of guys with the "my mustang is better than yours" revs, and then there are the friendly ones. Most friendly ones are followed by a thumbs up. There are plenty of them also

 

we do mainly the rev or the nod around here... i do the wave with the older crowd, as they appreciate that more.

 

the 5.o guys around here like to rev at me aggresivley..almost liike...I gotta 5.0 and all yous got is a 4.6....
