Yeah I got back to the main strip of highway near my house a hour later. And this import came by honked his horn and tried pulling away. Caught him in no time and had 5-6 car lengths in a matter of seconds.

$215 and he even included the Royal Purple 75-90wt gear lube and he had a better gasket seat for the girdle. Took his time and was very careful I was impressed.

Don't fear the gear. It feels like the stock gears untill you get on it and it just hauls so much a$$. And havent really noticed a gas milage change just cruising through town like usual. Highway is just reving kinda high but not that big of a issue if you stay at a constat speed 75mph seems to be just right for me.

There is no break in period needed for gears. They are either going to work or not.

Because 4.10's help accelerate faster than 3.73's. Obviously the only reason I can see in not getting 4.10's is that your engine will rev higher on the highway but if your a local driver that doesnt go on the highway much your revs wont be too affected you'll just shift more often. Trust me just get the most out of gears go to 4.10's.

I see EVERYONE only compare 3.73s to 4.10s. You people know that they DO make 3.90s, right?
LOL

The 3.90's are better for the automatics, if you have a manual, 4.10's are the way to go. I just had 3.90's put in my automatic and she hauls now..

Everyone else I've talked to says 4.10's are a minimum for an automatic... some even said to go to 4.56's

I'm going to run mine out at PIR shortly. I'll let you know what my ET's are.
Currently my best run is 13.89 with 3.73 gears.
I'll post new ET's as soon as I run.
