I only pay $10 to fill up my tank down here. I got a buddy who works at a Gas Station and hooks it up.

A hybrid wouldn't last 5 minutes out here... all dirt roads... well maybe an Escape, but thats all.

Don't have the Stang out here, my rides include:

03 F250 Crew Cab FX4 V10
03 E350 4.6L
00 F350 Stakebed V10
77 F250 4x4 4spd 360 V8
85 Toyota 4Runner

Luckily they're all company vehicles so I don't have to pay for the gas.

I put premium in last week and it was $2.90....I believe its up around $3.00 a gallon now for premium. It might be time to take the Diablo tune out and run 87 octane for a while.

You know what I don't get is here in the San Francisco Bay Area we always pay more for gas compared to the rest of the country and we have oil refineries right freaking here!

i think i payed $2.83 today for premium. a month ago i drove across country to montana and in some places gas prices were really cheap like somewhere in georgia it was ~$1.50 a gallon. in all of the smaller towns it was cheap by the highway but a couple miles down the road and the prices would go up like another dollar per gallon.

Funny thing is that the oil companies have made more profits off of consumers over the past 1-2 Years than any other year. I think I read Exxon/Mobil was up by something like 13/14%.

Something seem amiss here?

It doesnt help that we pay alot less for gas then all other countries and China competing for oil. Its about 2.84 for premium around south FL.
