Anyone have it? what do you think so far?
I have it for the 360 and so far i love it. I think the story is going to be better than MW2.

I think there may be a few surprises in the story.

Seeing all of these Black Ops threads are making my eyes bleed and I have a strong urge to hop on a SAW to mow down these damn goat/sheep looking animals wandering around the Constantine wire on the base perimeter!

 

im gunna pick it up tonight, ive heard some mixed reviews, some love it some it isnt for them. i hope it lives up to the hype.

 

Will be picking it up after work today. I've read the story is the best out of all the CoD, and the multiplayer is good, but some things a little different than MW. Either way it will be another solid shooter, plus **** Zombies is back.

 

Man I can't wait to get back from this deployment in 2 months so i can get my hands on that game. I'm with stanger00 on this one....

 

I've never been a big fan of the COD series. My roommates are getting it tonight so I'll see how I like it and decide from there.

Its quite good. Im on my second time through it... the harder settings add objectives so its not boring to replay a bunch of times.

 

Goldeneye was the best. i used to love that game. how are the graphics on the wii?

I like the purchase system on the multi player for Black ops. the levels are pretty cool too. alot of stuff going on in some of those levels

 

typical Wii. Not as good as the PS3 or 360, but worlds better than a N64.

1. Rock Band 3
2. Gran Turismo 5
3. ..sonic colors.....shut up
4. black ops

 

I have black ops. I got it release night.

It's different, I just hate the weaponry. I LOVED my scar in MW2, and the heartbeat sensor.

I'm having mixed feelings on the game because I just borrowed MW2 before this game came out, and I seem to lean on MW2 much more.

HOWEVER, this game is MUCH HARDER. You need to have a good team or else you will fail HORRIBLY worse. On MW2 in domination I could keep the flags going myself, but this one no.

I'm still leveling, and u can prestige like 14 times and unlock things as you do. Also you buy your weapons and attachments.

 

for me i would take mw2 anyday over black ops. mw2 is in a different league then this. like krenogin said the weapons are junk compared to mw2 and i just dont really like the way you have to buy weapons, attachments, and so on. if mw2 just added more maps and weapons everyone would switch right back, imo

 

Ok..so..about those weapons...wtf is a pm63, a HS10, and...a G11?
I dunno. The weaponry is kinda interesting. Im really curious about that Death Machine, aka "Arnold" gun.

 

So you guys are upset because you don't have your completely over powerful heartbeat sensor?

And that this game requires true skill, not luck of the draw?

 

True skill my *** lol. COD is all about who sees who first. That's it.

Finally played Black Ops today. It was alright, definitely had that World at War feel to it. I dno't mind the guns, really, idk what you're complaining about. Heartbeat sensors are for little bitches anyway

 

Thank you. ******* heartbeat sensors and dual wielding shotguns was the biggest ******* OP thing I've ever seen in an Xbox Live game.

On a side note, I like that you have to get COD points to buy everything. ******* contracts are kicking my *** though. 16 headshots with an AR in 40mins of game time can be pretty tough.

Don't like how you don't have to unlock the attachments for weapons, just the weapon itself.

 

i'm liking it alot more now. the camera and motion sensor are amazing.

 

Not sure how I feel about COD point system yet. Zombie mode is interesting. But the maps...OMG the maps in this one are awesome!

And yeah weapons...could be better. Hopefully there will be some marketplace DLs soon.

 

I agree 100% to me this started getting really old. I played MW2 a ton and much prefer this game. no over powering weapons and thank good not heartbeat sensor or health pill. I love the player card idea i think that is a great add. I also think these levels are freaking amazing!

 

You guys are complaining about the weapons compared to MW? Why, this is set in the 60s. It's not going to have the modern weapons. Duh!! I like it for the most part. I like the way they changed up the levelling up process and that you buy stuff. Lets me get things i want quicker.
