I don't know if anyone here works for Ford, but if you're reading this and you do shoot me a pm. I've got a question.

 

I wish I got paid a lot of money to do unskilled labor.

 

Maybe you should've worked at the assembly plant here in KC and tell me thats its unskilled labor. Sure its not something you have to go to college for, but I guarantee you at least 75% of the people out there can't do it. Hence why they go through new hires all the time.

Dad was an employee, and I knew most of the ins-and-outs but idk what you need to know. If anything I can be your last resort.

 

Same could be said about refinery workers. My buddies pull in close to 6 figures a year. I might jump in on the next mass hire, which is a year from now.

 

A whole lot of skills come in the form of experience. You learn "how to fix something", but you have to do it a few times before you learn "what to do to fix something"..

I tell young people at work all the time to try every job they throw at you. just to gain some experience. it will add up..

 

As always told by my pears " they cant take from you what you learn..."
