I wouldnt imagine many would know much about this but I was watching a old dvd I have at the house today that covers the Boss 429 and Saleen. And thought this was really kewl and after much searching in google found this site that is actually based out of Germany and alot of the links on this person site are no longer available except for a couple of them since its last activity was in 2004.

What it is, is they took a few Boss 429's over for the USMC back around WWII for the service men to enjoy and play with on some open air fields in Okinawa and Vietnam and the only agreement that Ford had to abide by was that the Govt would not pay anything towards the vehicles, so all the sponsors involved would have had to pay for everything involved in which they did. But as the site shows is that some of the vehicles had been damage in the process, so it was rather short lived.

Wouldnt this be kewl if took place this day and time.... if anybody finds anymore information on this I would love to hear it or see some information on it.
