With as much stupidity as I see and crappy people I have to deal with, today was one of the days that really made up for it.

I got a customer service award because a patient and my supervisor put my name in for going above and beyond.

Then I got a bouquet of flowers from another patient that I had stayed late to help.

It's not a giant deal but it does restore a little of my faith in humanity. I am proud to be a nurse.
