Default Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8

I've decided this is what I want.

Anyone have any experiences with this? Insight on these?

If anyone sees any for sale in this area, please let me know. I've seen some ridiculous prices like 39k. I'm looking for under 30k since its used.

They have trans problems from what I've heard from local guys that have 'em.

But otherwise they are ******* sick *** cars. Will eat a Termi's *** from a dig, so very very well worth the money for what it is.

I hope by this you mean the the jeep will be right behind the termi because with a average driver and good tires (improtant) a termi should have no problem beating a low 13 sec vehicle becuase they run high 12s

the jeep will hop off the line quicker though

You should definitely be able to find that for around 30k or less. 39k is kinda ridiculous. I know it's a chevy, but have you looked at the newer Trailblazer SS? There nice looking SUVs plus having a LS motor is nice. I believe it has around 410hp. I know you can find those pretty cheap.

You have to get a black one man..... with black wheels. The only part that can have color will be the SRT badge

pretty much the exact one that you posted the picture of

I love the SRT-8 jeeps, definitely a good choice. As was stated before, I've heard they can have transmission problems but those usually only show up if you mod/race a lot.

Nope. We have an SRT-8 (only mod is a CAI and tune) that hangs out with the local car group and he could eat my *** from a dig everytime all the way up to about 100-110 or so and then I'd start to pull busses on him. In a 1/4 mile a termi may win with an experienced driver, but it'd be pretty damn close.

The termi had just a 3.1 upper and diablo at that time, so it was still fairly stock.

I thought I posted the same suggestion yesterday, guess it didn't go through.

haha, must not have cause I didn't see it. Anyways, the Trailblazer is a good 10k cheaper, about 30hp less, but lighter and better gas mileage.

true story there, that black one looks like the definition of bad *** for an SUV, and with a few mods they will definitely surprise a few people for sure.

You're going to keep the GT and play with it right? I mean, you know you're going to miss it if you sell it.. Driving an SUV is no fun, I don't care how "fast" it is, it's still a fat pig that doesn't handle anything like your 'Stang and I promise, you WILL miss it. I know you are going to say that you're bored with it, whatever. I aboslutely promise you that you will miss the GT, no doubt.

And JM2C... I think I'd stay away from Chrysler. As much as I hate to say it, I think I'd rather have the TB SS. The new Explorer's are extremely nice too.

I have the GT now and i don't play with it. I drive it maybe 15 miles a week, at most. Its absolutely boring. I have zero interest in it. I've had it for 4 years now. There is not a chance I will miss it. I am ready to move on.

I went out yesterday to a couple jeep dealerships and looked around. Didn't find anything. My next step is actually asking them to track one down for me, i'm sure they can find one. I wanted to wait to do that, since they won't leave me alone after that.

I've been looking online and I joined a SRT8 forum hoping to find one for sale in the area. I'm not in any rush, but i am definitely hoping to find one.
