for a 2003 that sounds about right. offer them 21k and a decent downpayment and im sure they will take it. if i were you i would do it. i was looking for a white one but they are priced to high for me still. ima settle for a supercharger.

That blue is Mach 1 is one of like 2200 made. I saw one on E-bay for I think 22 or 23 grand. But you know how used cars are. especially a Mach 1 or Cobra. Has it been run the dog crap out of ? Probably has been redlined once or twice, But it probably wouldn't even hurt the 4.6 to strectch it out real good. I know I've let my GT let loose a few times and Daaam. Tight little motor. I would love to have a Mach 1. But it would have to be RED :

i hate skeptics like this. this car is 2 years old with 11k on it. i bought my gt with 12k on it and i beat the crap out of it for 40k before i took it to the track and it still pulled a sub 14 sec pass. these cars can handle a good beating.

if you really like the car and they will give you a better deal then i say buy it. if i wasnt getting boosted then i sure as hell will be with the mach 1 crew. i have 3 more payments left on my car thats in my moms name. she got it when i turned 18 and ive been paying for it ever since, im 21 now and when im 22 the car will be turned over to me.

Who's the skeptic? I was praising the 4.6 motor be it SOHC or DOHC. What I meant was just be weary of any used cars. You never know what someone did to it. Notice I said Mustangs have a tight motor. That means it can handle some abuse. Being cautious as to what you buy is not being skeptical. Just wise. If you were to sell your car today would you tell them you beat the crap out of it for 40k before you ran it at a strip?? Then I would be skeptical.

That sounds about like the going rate for one. Personally, I'd have to find one in competition orange. A guy that lives down the street from my uncle has an orange one and it looks freekin sweet. Also at a local dealership last month they had a white one with 9800 miles and they were asking $23,000. White is good too!

Sounds like a normal price. Do some haggling and get the car.
