Default BuyFordRacing Sucks.

I hate that place. I've had nothing but problems from them from the start. Couple of years ago, my future Mother-in-law ordered me some 10th Anniversary Cobra shift **** and boot from BuyFordRacing.com/ Diversified Products for Christmas. They canceled her order, called her, and told her that she put the wrong information on the billing information and accused her of using someone else's credit card information. I ordered my Cobra brakes from them about a year and a half ago, they canceled my order without any notification because they thought some of the shipping and billing information didn't match. I called them about it and got some of the rudest replies I have ever gotten from a business.

Just recently, my girlfriend has attempted to order 3:73 gears for my birthday. Three times they have canceled her order, claiming that the billing address information does not match the card. She has absolutely made sure that it does, no doubt about it. I told her to call them this morning but no one answered so she sent them yet another E-mail. The number I have for them is 734-459-0130, if anyone has a recent recipt with a different number please send it to me. You won't find their phone number on the website. They don't want to talk to you or seem to care about the customer.

I know that some people have had good experiences with them, and a lot of people have had bad experiences, but I have never had an issue free order from them like I do with American Muscle. If it weren't for the decent prices that BuyFordRacing has, I would never consider ordering from them or recommend anyone else do so either. They have the absolute worse customer service and communication.

I don't think I am writing about anything new, and I've even complained about it here before. But stick with Americanmuscle.com and the like, becuase BuyFordRacing should go down the *******.

Sorry to hear about your experience. I have heard so many bad things about the customer service and they only seem to 'half-***' respond to emails. I see they have some damn good deals, but it's impossible to order from them.

The deals are good. $150 for true FRPP 3:73 gears with free shipping is a damn good deal. Getting it to your door without being accused a lier, or having to re-enter the order multiple times, or trying to contact them, is the problem. I just can't see myself ever ordering from them again. Three strikes. The service that I get from AM.com would be a ten, and BuyFordRacing a zero. You can even see on the online banking where Diversified Products tried to charge her $150 for the gears, twice. Pending charge and all that. I just don't know what the problem is, and they won't give an answer.

I received a email message that my order has been cancelled. What happened?
99% of the time if you have received a message your order has been cancelled it is related to your payment / shipping information. Our advanced fraud protection system will reject your order if the billing / shipping addresses do not match your credit card information. We cannot resolve payment issues for you, you will need to contact your bank or credit card company to resolve payment issues. Also make sure you included the CVN code for your credit card.
lol @ their "advanced fraud protection system"

Yeah, if they really do have a fraud protection system, it much reject the order even if a period if missing after St. or Rd. or something like that.

I have only ordered from them once when I got my cobra front brake kit, but everything went smoothly. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

When I was modding etc...I NEVER went with a "unknown" business, really. I mean, I bought a few things off Ebay, with paypal, and if my stuff didn't show up within a week, it was cancelled, and either my money was refunded, or I was going through payapl.

To me, I'll spend the extra $$ to ensure I get my orders on time, correctly, and if neither one of those happens, atleast decent customer service.

I didn't buy much from AM, but I'll say a few things, when I ordered my wheels/tires...I ordered black wheels, large tires, etc.

Wheels showed up Chrome (20+ price diff, chrome being more expensive.) and small tires.

That day, FROM CALIFORNIA, I called them at 2pm my time, got someone on the phone, asked for Nick but he was gone. They said they could take care of it, w/e.

Nick calls me the next morning, says "well do you want chrome they are more expensive" this and that. I say no, I want black. He says no problem. Calls me back and goes "hey, send the tires back, I looked at your order, dude in the shop screwed up, gave you too small of tires for the fronts."

I printed out the shipping label they sent me, that day. Also let Nick know, I was expecting the wheels ASAP, due me having already sold my old wheels.

My wheels and tires got here, from PA, in 3 business days. Not often I can say that ANY company these days does that. If AM carried what I needed for my build, and had a rep for building strokers, chances are the bulk of my cash would've gone to them, mark up or not.

I'll pay for my customer service over a sale price any day of the week.

Gotta agree with Bako, AM has the best customer service ive ever seen from any company to date. And while i havent ordered as much stuff as others, i make sure to buy from places i know. Buyfordracing is gunna have to change something or their business will slow down allot.

Yeah, some people don't have problems with them. And I don't know what it is. But three times, three different people including me, have had problems with orders from them.

The girlfriend sent BuyFordRacing an E-mail asking why the orders keept getting cancled due to addresses not matching, even though she is certain that they do. The replied by saying "You would need to check with your credit card company to find out why the address doesn't match." Just zero amount of effort or customer service. The issue is not that she is putting in the wrong adress, it's that their system keeps cancling it for some reason. It would have been better if they hadn't replied. Were done with this though. Gears should be here Tuesday from AM.
