WTF is with women? Has some virus that only attacks women ravaged our female population into a bunch of brainless half wit text messaging zombies?

Yeah, so you all know the wife cheated on me, still working on that divorce, it is costing me an arm and a leg but hey, we have been at it 8 months. I wanted some female companionship, i enjoy being in a relationship.

so i have a garage sale right, and some hot blonde number shows up, buys some stuff, then leaves, comes back, and asks for my number and invites me to a BBQ. Cool right?

so that was about 5 weeks ago. Things have been going great, she is 5ft nothing, 115 lbs, size 1, fun, smart, sexy, and is totally into me! She has a kid, no biggie, i have one too. She tells me this bullshit about how she is so glad we met, that she lost faith in men because they are all a bunch of jerks and she is so happy to meed me cause im such a blah blah blah (reads "Not a douchebag"). Things are great!

Except, WTF is with the texting? I do it sure, but she will NOT answer her phone. She only texts. in the 5 weeks we have been seeing eachother i have spoken to her on the phone 4 times. I know her schedule, i know her routine, im pretty sure im the only guy she is seeing.

Anyways, she knows im in a divorce, this is NOT a secret, she got upset when i wouldnt introduce her to my wife who i am currently walking on eggshells around because right now she is agreeing to a settlement that wont completely fuck me over six ways from sunday. And she is mad cause im not telling my wife about her? Are you fucking kidding me? Hell no, once the divorce is final sure why the hell not. But untill then i dont want to risk losing my house and not being able to provide for my son because she got vindictive and the courts allowed her to drop a financial nuclear fucking bomb on my life.

so everything has been smooth the last few weeks, except yesterday she wouldnt respond to me much. just "im fine" and crap like that

anyways,. so last night i get a call right from "stacy" right, she said she met me at the bar i gave her my card, she wanted to meet up. Yeah right. I saw right through that shit like a sheet of freshly windexed glass. It was her friend, calling me from a blocked number trying to see what i would do. So i was polite and played along, said ive been seeing somone for over a month now and that im sorry but i wasnt interested and to have a nice night.

that shit pisses me off. im big on honesty, i dont cheat, and what did i just see? a lack of faith in my integrity when i have done nothing to warrant that!

anyways this morning i called her out on it, said i diddnt appreciate it and i could always pull the call logs since i work for the phone company and she fessed up and said she wouldnt do it again.

so i figure no biggie. she asked me for a CD of photos she left at my place, i dropped it off for her in her mailbox cause she was at work, she diddnt respond when i texted her, oh, same shit as yesterday. So i ask her about an hour or so later if everything was ok between us and another hour no response, where she normally responds within a fucking nanosecond. So i ask if the lack of response actually the answer. She says she is real busy.

fuck me.

Anyways now i have no clue whats going on, but im sick and fucking tired of having a relationship with a girl that is based off text messaging when we are not together. Im not fucking happy of some immature 16 year old "test" of my faithfulness.

women really piss me off. im convined that 90% of them are retarded, of the 10% that are left 7 of them have daddy issues, and 2 cannot be trusted, and the last one just doesent exist!

Shit sucks, I'm sorry and hopefully it's just something else she's not telling you. I haven't been dating for years and still kind of not. Unless I know for a fact I found the right girl.

Text Messaging can be mislead and taken the wrong way. Plus sometimes it could be someone else, unless your like me and don't let anyone use your Cell Phone. haha

I'm confused, why did she test you by having her friend call? Was she thinking you only wanted her as a secret or something?? It's totally understandable why you wouldn't want her near the current divorce going on.

I agree about the texting. That shit pisses me off sometimes. I don't understand how some people honestly think it's a good idea to have deep or serious conversations through text. Some things are better left off to real conversations, texts can be always be taken way out of context.

The "test" thing just kind of ticket me off because it was a dishonest move and it was somewhat insulting that they thought i was dumb enough to fall for it. We have been seeing eachother maybe 5 weeks, and if she would have put any time in to really getting to know me then she would know that she doesent need to do that stuff.

Like i said, im not crying, moping, or heartbroken, im just real annoyed, this isnt the kind of stuff i should put up with. lol

If you've ever had a girl who does nothing but call you every 25 minutes or talks your ear off, you'd appreciate texting.

I can't stand to be around people, trying to have a conversation, who can't put their phone down, constantly texting. My neighbor is like that, 20 y.o. girl, dumb as a box of rocks, constanly entangled in some kind of highschool-esque drama. My buddy and I were talking just the other day coming back from a baseball game; How is it, that a lot of our friends were married, had kids, divorced, and re-married before they were 25? That kind of crap shouldn't happen until your 40. It's because they are not mature, but think they are.

I text a lot, and find it very useful. It is used in the wrong way a lot though. Inflection is key in a "real" conversation. So dont try to have one via text message. Thats how I see it.

as for the girl I hate to tell you to play mind games but distance yourself a bit.

1. if she gets all bitchy because you aren't paying attention to her she isn't worth your time

2. if she decides she is missing out and makes contact tell her straight up you like her but hate drama and have no time for it.

Tell her that she needs to realize that you are a stand up guy and you will treat her great like she deserves (if she does) but you have zero tolerance for pointless issues and shit like that.

I hate talking on the phone, but if it's something serious, then ya I'll do it. My wife always complained why I don't just call my good friend who lived like 6 hours away. Half the time I'm just asking if he saw this new movie, or played this game and whatnot. Nothing serious, so why call for 2 seconds. I'll text my wife like what do you want for dinner and such, but thats about it. The serious stuff needs to be over the phone or in person.

I'm a very romantic guy, and I don't think I've ever gone for more than a month without finding someone that I end up dating. But everytime I think it's going to be different they always have something fucking stupid that they do.

The girl I'm "seeing" right now (not dating even though she has spent 75% of the past two weeks at my house) is a girl I met through work. Beautiful blonde, small and petite, absolutely beautiful and super down to earth. But it's the same as you, all texting, all the time. And when we do have personal confrontation she's coy. I have to be the one to initiate everything and to make every decision. But yet she complains when I pick something she doesn't like, or she gets mad at me for annoying her when I don't text back within 5 seconds.

I think every girl on earth is becoming something out of an MTV show. They're drama obsessed, hypocritical, and most of all completely retarded in most of the things they do. It's all one big game to them, when I'm looking for a relationship.



I say, you tell her exactly what Lazerred said. That you're an honest stand-up guy, that you don't want your divorce to be more complicated than it already is by pissing off your wife. Tell her that you don't appreciate the games she's trying to play, and that you're looking for a serious relationship. If you like her enough then just try and talk it out with her. If you don't then suck up to her, nail her, and then just have fun with it.

Im not really sweating it much, ive had a good day and dont plan to let something like that mess my day up. The last few days ive been so frustrated with her i dont know if she is worth the effort, well she made my decision for me.

and Rebel, yeah, dont worry there. lol. I had about a 15 month dry spell from when the wife quit putting out, dealing with the divorce, then met this girl and i destroyed the dryspell like a maniac. lol.

I really need to up my standards, nobody under 27, must have a Diploma NOT a GED, must have already figured out her career and be financially independant.

this was a fun little diversion, but i had little faith it was gonna work in the long run.
