but if my car was to have a custom tune preloaded and i didnt know when i purchased the car.... is there any way to find out? possibly a predator or sct tune was installed and info was never relayed to me???

 

I wonder that about mine too. Cause I dont have a speed limiter. I went down one big *** hill and got it over 120 and it didnt start idling the engine down or anything.

 

Find a friend that has a tuner and try to install a tune into your car. Your friend has to put the stock tune back into his car before you try this. Your car will not be able to download the stock tune if it has an aftermarket tune already installed. That tuner is "married" to that car with the VIN number.

If you have do not have the tuner that put that tune in your car, you will have to take the car to a Ford dealer and have it reflashed with OEM software.

You can take it to a dealer and have it checked = 1hr labor

 

You sure you didn't buy my old mustang? The guy that bought my old V6 doesn't know that it has a predator tune on it for 93 octane and all that, at least I was never able to tell him.
