I would still take a terminator over this new GT anyday. Its just so stupidly cheap to modify a cobra and see returns out the wazoo. Plus factory forged. But I prefer the looks of newedges and the way they sit low to the ground and feel like im actually driving.
+1. A non-boosted 5.0 that puts out as much hp as my Cobra stock is appealing even though it's heavier. But, with high compression adding boost later on is going to be few if anything. And it's also pushing the limits even more so than boosting an 05-09.
To prove my point look at the 350Z guys, most of them that do superchargers/turbos blow their stock motor if they go above 4-5lbs. I see the cam/head market being really big, but boosting a high compression motor won't be worth it. I can see that right now.

You also have an older car and it's a V6. Can't really compare. I'm assuming you don't have full liability and comprehensive coverage.

I was reading that too, but the article I read said it was their first run and that they should be able to get 12.5 out of the GT.

They posted the full article earlier, and as we all expected mustang>camaro>challenger. It's just like .4 behind the gt500 in the 1/4.
These are gonna be bad ass..
