I have Dead Space 2 at my house right now and it fails. It's not scary, so it doesn't make a good survival horror game. And it doesn't have enough action to be a good shooting game. It's boring as **** and I lost interest after chapter 4. Go Skyrim.

those who have seen BF3 in action today at GDC say that BF3 will have "pain induced blinking/blur" which is suppose to mimic the sense of being shot, chunks of concrete and walls blown off a wall or a collapsed building can hurt/kill you if they hit you, full body awareness (jumping down, picking up another gun, getting into a vehicle will have realistic full body motions)

You know devs have the ability to view things from an omniscient POV in the actual game engine and record/screen shot stuff, right? That's how trailers and promotional pictures get made. BF2 had something called Battlerecorder, where you could DL the file, go in and watch a replay of your game, fly around the map or watch from someone's POV or a third-person POV, I'm sure BF3 has something similar.
Even it if is a cutscene, I don't know of any games these days that use non-game engine renders for their cut-scenes. Except maybe that Killzone ****. BF3's biggest thing is how amazing Frostbite 2 is, and they won't be showing anything that didn't come from that engine.

Note that when you reload the rifle with a round in the chamber, that round stays in the chamber, so you can have capacity +1. And the RPG doesn't have some huge visible smoke trail giving away where it was shot from.

Well, to run BC2 at 60fps I had to go from 4gb to 8gb. That's with an AMD Phenom X4 720 @ 3.3ghz, and a 4890 with 1GB/256bit and two WD black drives in raid_0. I think the only thing I'll need to upgrade is my video card, which doesn't support DX 11 (and is required by BF3), 6970 hur I commmmmmme.
And they have confirmed that weapons will be SELECT-FIRE. I am so happy they are bringing this back.

And so begins the death of dominance by MW games. Thank you Dice.
