4.10 gears
I just wanna say that since I had these installed......OH MY GOD.
If I would have known how much a difference they make, then they would have been the first thing I did to my mustang.
First gear puts you into the backseat if you gain traction. Its NUTS!
Anyone who doesn't have gears, you NEED TO GET SOME!

I'm glad I decided on 4.10's. I think 3.73 would have been too low. I also dont really do any highway driving either, so it only made sense.
You other guys gotta post on how you feel about your gears when you get them installed.

I do highway driving and since I sold my beater I have to drive the stang everyday.... Hopefully that won't last to long. Plus I think it will be better when I get my blower hopefully this time next year when I get back from the desert.

You'll need a little nitrous or something for a new edge GT..and some more of it for a s197.

Turbo - lower gear ratio.

somewhat true:
Centrifugal Supercharger (Procharger, Vortech, etc) - high gear ratio or bust (3.90-4.10)
Positive Displacement Supercharger (KB, Whipple, Eaton) - mid gear ratio (3.55-3.73)
Turbochrager - lower gear ratio (3.02-3.27)
i remember how good it felt to have my 4.10's. it honestly should have came stock. you can cruise 70mph comfortably at 2100 rmps i believe (its been so long since i drove my stang i cant remember). i cant even remotely rememberr how it feels to drive a stock geared mustang. i have had mine for 2.5 years and i love them. best modification i have done along with a short throw shifter
last time i checked, cruising at 70mph in my beater i was turning 1900 rpm.

When I first put 3.73's in my car I was thinking "man, I should of got the 4.10's" Then when I got the supercharger installed less than a year later. I was thinking "damn, I'm glad I didnt get those 4.10's"
I dont know what its like to ride in a stock geared mustang. I have had gears in my car for over 5 years. I have a auto and cruise 70 around 2300 rpms.

I've got one more major suspension part, torque arm, and then I'm on to performance. 3:73 gears is going to be close to the top of the list. I had 3:73 gears in my other mustang and never really thought that I needed 4:10s. Gears do make a huge difference. I do a lot of highway and interstate driving though and 3:73 is what I need. I've got HIDs, bumpsteer kit, hood latches, and front control arm bushings sitteng here waiting to be installed.

Yeah, I ment to send you a PM to let you know. It got here quick as hell, thanks.
I'm planning on it. It will probably be a while before it gets done though. I want it to warm up a bit, also I'm going to be at my apartment for a at least a month more. That means the car is going to be dirty and no good for pictures.
