Default What I get for being an idiot

So my car was parked in an unfamiliar place where I had to back down a long driveway and then turn around where the driveway forks. I was in a hurry so I didn't brush off the back window..... Big mistake. Since there was snow everywhere I just sort of guessed where the drive way forked and backed into a tree that I didn't see (cause I'm a moron) So now I have these two awesome little cracks in my bumper and I get to try and make a bumper repair thread when I get the stuff I just ordered (touch up paint, clear coat, primer, flexible filler/adhesive. Not to mention the sand paper and painters tape I need to go get.

If the project turns out well I'll make the thread...... if not I'm going to pretend I didn't try lol

I'll take pics once I get all the stuff that I need then hopefully next weekend I can take the bumper off and get started on friday night with all the prep work. Depending on the cure time of the adhesive I might be able to have that sanded and a coat of primer on by next friday night if I get started early enough. Then saturday morning I can sand the primer, clean off all the dust and get a base coat on. I'm not sure how long the paint will take to dry so I will have to see how many coats I can do on saturday. then sunday I can apply the clear coat and if i'm lucky I can have the bumper back on the car by next monday

Just take your time. That paint will take awhile to cure seeing as it is winter timer and you're in MI.

Good luck!

Yup. goodluck with that. I hit a dog and busted my front bumper all to pieces. The driver sides fine, the passenger side wont bolt on anymore because the gay 1 tab broke, SO i zip tied it all together. Mines the FRANKENSTANG! I found me a new bumper painted for 50dollars im gonna get this weekend if i dont get snowed in.
