Default It's fcking cold

This is for anyone at or below the Mason Dixon line, which I believe is the Top of Virginia northmost and then south.

It's ******* cold here. Geesus, 27 degrees at 2:30 am. This is gonna be an ugly winter as we aint used to this stuff. You guys from up north please close your fridges, we feel your pain already. I'm tapping out if it gets any colder here..

I saw this post, and was like "I'm going to go complain about how cold it is here too". Then I saw that you're from right down the road from me...........So you've got it handed.

Worst part is, working on Ft. Bragg, it's 1/2 day schedules, so I'm one of the only people here, and the heat doesn't work in my building. So I've got a space heater under my desk, trying to stay warm until noon, then go home.

When spilt beer on a beer pong table freezes, it's time to go home.

I mean it gets cold here too. sure. Sometimes in a blue moon we might see single digets, but the older I get the worse it feels to me. I went to get the newspaper in shorts and a tee shirt, and almost thought I wouldn't make it back. LOL.. I looked up the record low for this town and it was 9 degree's I think. 20 years ago. Wind chills are what gets us. Most people here aren't prepared for that. Anyway forecast here calls for 20 dgrees for a low this weekend into next week. Wish us luck. There will be casualties..

Y'all are a bunch of pansies...I've had to work outside in negative temps in snow even and you don't hear me whining about it. This week it has been anywhere from single digit conditions to 15 degrees when I go to work in the mornings -- so for all of you whining about how cold it is quit your bitching.

It's been pretty cold here in Florida lately, but I don't mind. I'd rather it be cold than hot anyday.

Just to keep from posting in the dreaded Global warming debate thread again. It's still fcking cold here. LOL. Hasn't reached above 37 in full sunlight since I last posted. Supposed to be like this for the rest of this week and into the following week. Chance of precip on Friday, which will be snow if it happens. I'm getting used to it, but it still slows me down. I have those dreaded dry finger tip splits under my nails and they hurt like hell.

I live in NC and we shouldn't be this cold for more than 2 or 3 days in a row. And as far as Fla goes, HA HA. you guys are in the high 40's and low 50's. Wanna trade for highs in the mid 30's to lows in the teens.

Anyway, just got 1/2 cord of wood to keep the fireplace hot. should last me 2 years..

Where's Global Warming when you need it?

The heat in my building at work still isn't fixed yet, so I'm sitting here with a small space heater under the desk, which keeps popping the circuit breaker. This working in a 100 year old building with shoddy electrical is for the birds.

Its 12 degrees and I get to go wash the walls, floors, ceilings...even the basement of this empty house.

The house has no heat, its been empty for months... yay, water, me, and 12 degrees.

meh...at least its work...i cant paint in this weather, and the local school board decided not to have me plow and salt, even though we got 2 inches last night and all on top of ice.

Guess they would rather risk the injury of a child and a lawsuit then pay to have me make their schools safe.

It's been pretty cold here for awhile now. Definately colder than it has been in the past. This week is a bit warmer being in the mid 50s/low 40s. Good thing when I go to work in the morning, my car is nice and warm in the garage.

I'm not even going to guess how cold it is outside here. I'm not going to look at the weather channel, I'm not going to stick my foot outside. All I know is it was cold enough for the pool to freeze over, and that hasn't happened this winter yet, and I don't remember it happening last year. I'm going to stay my *** inside as much as possible.

My '93 doesn't have heat, so I freeze my non-existent ***** off on the way to work every morning. When I went to get into the car yesterday morning, I couldn't even open the door because of the ice. I had to grab the handle and just pull it with all my body weight to be able to open it.

My dad's a cheap-*** and won't let me put the heater above 65* in the house. I'm glad he works nights because I crank that bitch up to 70* until I go to bed.
